Today began normally. Prefects and other students that were working were all around us. Just then, I came along smiling and waiting for things to happen. Soon after, Nicole and everyone else arrived (Except for Form 2 Jejarum Prefects for they were being held back for all recess due to some problems they caused to the wonderful Pn. Krishna(She prefers being called Cik. Krishna)). I sat down and started digging in to my Coco Crunch which I had been storing. Everyone else started to grab it like some type of beakless-chicken? Anyways, Imran then started talking about "THE CAKE".
Imran: So, wheres the cake?
Kevin: Since when did you eat my cake?
Imran: I stole a piece from Visakan the other day.
Kevin: I see...TOLD YOU NICOLE!
Nicole: GRRR! I told you already! It tastes like dog food!
Just then, Nuhan had this crazy idea to join in the conversation.
Nuhan: Hey, Nicole! Layered cake is nice lah!
(F.Y.I. Lah: A suffix of no standard meaning used by Malaysians in their very own version of the english language (affectionately named Manglish) to spice up sentences and to express very different meanings according to the way it is said.)
Nicole: Noooo! It's disgusting! If only Sree were here!
Kevin: HMMMPH! This totally prooves that New Block Prefects have way better taste! And that Nuhan is really some type of weird animal.(No offense was intended)
Nuhan: HEY! Ah whatever...
*Imran begins to giggle*
Then the bell began to ring and all happy faces turned to stern faces. We all looked mean but everything we said or at least, I said began with please and ended with thank you. I am really quite satisfied with my decision to continue as a prefect this year. The only problem is, I find it really cold in school! I really wished we had our vests to warm me up so I don't get cold feet during duty.(I really mean it. My feet get cold! But it doesn't affect me in any way.)
